Beef & Lentils Burgers

Ingredients

  • 400 g can lentils, rinsed and drained
  • 300 g lean beef, ground
  • 1 small zucchini, coarsely grated
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions

  • 1. Place the lentils, beef, zucchini and egg in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape into four patties. Place on a baking tray. Cover and place in the fridge for 10 minutes to chill.
  • 2. Spray a barbecue grill or chargrill with oil and heat on medium high. Cook the patties for four minutes each side or until lightly charred and cooked through.
